Cliff Head South. WA.

We stayed the weekend at Indara Siding, very hot, lots of flies. Repaired a couple of stone chips on the windscreen, bought some storage containers waterproof, to replace the roof bag which have already leaked water from rain in past.

As we will be heading, down to the Margaret River area WA, and it has a lot of rain. So some maintenance to prepare for the rain.

We visited Geraldton for mail, and had a wheel alignment on truck and trailer. We went down close to the ocean at the port of Geraldton, stayed at a park resting for a couple of hour very peaceful.

Now we have finished in Geraldton we headed south to Cliff Head and stayed at the campgrounds of the southern section. Views of the Indian Ocean, beach sand, high winds on a coastal strip what else. Sleeping with the sound of waves crashing on shore.
Last night out watching the stars over the Indian Ocean I could see lights what looked like a ship but it was not moving, by morning I got the binocular out to see an oil rig off the coast of Cliff Head South. I took a picture to show and found out reading an article in Perth Now it is an unmanned oil rig about 14klms off the coast, which had a recent oil spill. Not good!👎👎

Day 2, still overcast cloudy, very windy. The ocean views fantastic, I feel I am sleeping better in this campsite cool night and the sound of the ocean waves pounding on the foreshore.
The sun is trying very hard to breakthrough the clouds and when is does the sunlight glisten of the ocean waves.
The plan will be to pack up tomorrow and leave heading south towards Leeman.
