Ford Run rest area.

Tonight we were watching the state of origin game two on the TV outside via the satellite dish, we had good reception. It was a good fast game. It makes me feel good how comfortable camping is now days compared to years ago.

Yesterday I was baking bread in our new sunbeam bread maker. I baked a multigrain loaf and it turned out great. Texture and crust the way we like it. Very impressive, only 450w of power, using our power inverter to change 12v to 240v. This is all being done in the Bush, offgrid, camping is really comfortable in modern times.

I got the metal detector out to fossic for gold seeing that we are on the Goldfield Highway, tried my luck in a dried up river bed and yes I found aluminum cans, fencing wire, but unfortunately for me no gold, still a lot of fun and the exercise is always good for you.

It's now late afternoon, time to get the fire on and setup the satellite dish, the vast box and TV for the State of Origin game two in the ANZ stadium Sydney. Well it is a very fast game ?"penalty try" some controversy but the end result the blues took the game.

Nice watching the game outside with the campfire so close.

Well tomorrow we will pack down and head north to Leinster.
