The Nullarbor Way

Today our travels took us to the Nullarbor Roadhouse, a chance to get some supplies and look around.

The roadhouse has a caravan park attached to it. The old Eyre Highway road comes off the driveway to the roadhouse.

The Nullabor Roadhouse has a fiberglass Humpback whale on display near its sign. The toilet wall on the outside has a big mural of whales.

The weather has been getting cold and some rain about. Plan travel another two campsite before Ecula.

Currently I am writing this blog on a cliff camp site in the SA border. Spectacular views of the Great Australian Bite and the cliff walls. There is a lot of erosion on the edge and some unstable cliff edges.

Today it is raining so I set up the wind generators to collect power for the camper trailer.

At the end of the day, it turned out to have a spectacular sunset and a beautiful rainbow over the ocean.

That night you could hear the thunder rumbling in the distance and lightning on the horizon.
