Onto Herbert Park (Yule River)

Well it has been blowing a gale upto 60k/h winds for the last 3 days so its time to pack down. This was very difficult due to the wind pushing the canvas all to one side.

Went to Karratha as we wanted to obtain a Miners Rights certificate so we can use our metal detector to find all the empty beer cans and fencing wire and even empty gunshot shells and of gold if we are lucky.

The town of Karratha is RV friendly from the aspect of parking area for cars and caravans. Dump points are good but drinking water they want you to buy with a token. They do not support free camping area around town and have Ranger patrolling the area.

Caravan park there are plenty, this is the main reason why free camps are not supported,  even though us travellers spend lots of money in there town.

After getting supplies we drove northwards to a small town of Roeburne we stop to take some pictures.

Then onwards we went driving and going through allot of fuel as we were driving into a head on wind and my truck was not very aero dynamic.

The views of the landscape, hills, mountains, and wildflowers on the roadsides the golden wattle is in abundance.

We went pass Sherlock river full of water, then onto Whim creek dry, but at least beer flows at the pub.

Now onto Herbert Park on the Yule river which is a part of the Munda Station. The Yule river is also dry and would be our campsite for a few days.

We started setting up the camper trailer and as the afternoon was coming about we stopped to look at the sunset on another day. It is a very mild night.
