Green Head WA.

Well we left the town of Leeman and heading South to the next town that we explored the town of Green Head.

Green Head has a lobster fishing fleet, this industry started in the 1950s and still currently running off the coast.

Green Head is a small coastal fishing village. We drove through part of the town and headed down to the hetty to see the Indian Ocean off its coastline. The water turquoise in color, seaweed and sand made the seabed off the jetty. Photo opportunity again this place is beautiful but there was a smell from some decomposing seaweed.

You could see the waves breaking on a shallow reef a far way out. The rock area on the coastline was also picturesque.

As we were trying to drive out we saw a sign saying lookout, had to check it out. Driving up a very steep hill we entered a gravel driveway to the lookout. A seating area on top and views as far as the eye can see. This is a sweet spot to grab a glass of wine and watch the sunset. For us it was to early in the day.
South of Green Head is Fishermen Islands which is breeding ground for sea lions, which you can book tours to see. Another area we discovered was Dynamite Bay, a beautiful secluded cove and parks with shelters, manicured lawns toilet block, walk trails. This is also photo opportunity.
The town of Green Head is between Leeman and Jurien Bay. Well onto the next town of Jurien Bay.
