Journey To Bremer Bay, WA - PT2
The selfie stick is getting a lot of use. On the way down this steep gravel road as I was descending very slowly with the truck in low gear we pulled over for a different viewing aspect.
On the side of the road I turn the truck sideways less chance of it rolling down the road. Another photo opportunity again.
On the way down the gravel road Gay-maree also saw some beautiful yellow candle stick banksias that she wanted pictures of. A couple of flowers showed some busy bees.
WOW it has been a full on day now it is getting late in the afternoon, we need to find a campsite it is a 130klm away from us, better get a move on.
We drove back onto the South West Hwy to the town of Jerramungup we took a picture of the welcome sign.
It states it is a soldier settlement, not sure why?
Well driving through we turned right heading towards Esperance to our next campsite for the night named the Fitzgerald River truck stop. This is across the road from the National park.
We had a look around a few nice places but too close to the road.
I found a washed out track leading into the bush. Gay-maree said "don't go down we might get bogged", but I said the truck has been over worse tracks going down a very tight track not much turn around room but what a great place to camp!
I reversed the camper trailer into a nook and setup for the night.
