Journey To Windy Harbour WA.

Well we spent the night at Connolly Flat rest area, I was awoken at 05:10 am by the camper trailer shaking fairly violently, went out side to see if someone was shaking the camper trailer, but no one was there.

Went back to bed and I could still feel a light tremble. In the morning another traveler ask did we feel a tremor and was there mine blasting in the area. I said this area around us is National parks no mining it must have been an earthquake in the area.

Will check the internet when back online.(Update, 5.4 earthquake hit Lake Muir 59klms away). At Connolly flat there are kangaroo paws growing wild.
After having a late pack up it was off to Windy harbour, not shaw how far we can go because a lot is National parks and Jools our pet Maltese is not allowed.

Driving down the road there are lots of wetland areas, with water on both sides of road. On arriving ocean views on top of a hill Crest in road where I stopped for photos.

At the end of the road was a caravan park no views because of sand dune.

So we headed down to the boat ramp, through a Village of Windy Harbour.
We drove through the village gravel roads to the boat ramp. Great ocean views from the boat ramp, photo opportunity again.
Unfortunately for us the D'entrecasteaux National Parks where they're not pet friendly, were between us and other lookouts. Cathedral Rock.
Cliff Window lookout another area inside the D'entrecasteaux National parks. Pics from fellow travelers.
Tookulup Lookout is another area inside the D'entrecasteaux National parks I would have liked to seen.
Salmon Beach and the loockout was also through the National park .
Windy Harbour was worth visiting, the ocean is the Great Australian Bite heading south next stop the Antarctica.

For us if it was pet friendly I would have explored everywhere and yes the National parks do use bait 1080 to keep foxes under control, so I do see they are trying to protect my pet from being poisoned by keeping him out, but it is still a shame that part of my family is being locked out of parts of Australia.
