Harland Park Overnight Camp.
Well we finally left the town of Texas, QLD. The weather has been fantastic in this area a bit sorry to leave, but now back on the road.
Next morning foggy overnight, still waiting for the fog to lift before packing up.
We headed out to Warwick and over the Gap, down to the town of Aratula and a bit further we stop at the Fassifern Rest Area for the night, it is a big overnight camp spot but close to the road, and plenty of road noise overnight. Toilet available with good mobile reception.
Next morning packed up and set off through Ipswich and onto Fernvale on the way to Wivenhoe Dam, we came here about 20years ago small town area with a pie shop.

Now it looks like a major type of town with traffic and tourist just like the Noosa and Sunshine Coast area. It is a very busy area.
The Wivenhoe Dam beautiful as we drove on top of the dam wall. The water level is down a bit but it is a very big dam water catchment area.
Next town Esk, just as busy, went on to Toogoolawah and stop for lunch at Poll Cradell Park another free campsite.

After having our break it was time to tackle the Blackall Range and heading towards Yarraman we came across Harland Park our campsite for tonight. Huge area, plenty of space, covered picnic tables and rubbish bins.
No toilet must be self sufficient and a little river flows around the park. Road noise not to bad as you can get along way from the road.
Mobile reception patchy at best, but we invested into a cell repeater that does a good job at getting good mobile reception to us.
Gay-maree and Jools relaxing.
