Back At Anabranch!
Well after leaving the Cooktown region it was getting near time to head south for the summer season. This is where the difficult descision has set in, the main areas we go is Texas, Blayney or Ponto, New South Wales.

Unfortunately the southeast corner of Queensland is burning as well as the northern NSW. Bushfires are everywhere and you are expected to have a bushfire plan and evacuation in place.
My heart goes out to everyone who has been caught up in these severe bushfire conditions.
Well up at Charters Towers region it is hot and humid at times but we do get a lovely evening sea breeze that cools the place down.
Some areas around NSW are reaching near 40c daytime temps so are areas of Victoria and Adelaide in South Australia. Going South for a cool change is not always the case.
Currently we are managing the temps with a water evaporative cooler and air conditioner, it appears to be working extremely well inside our camper trailer.
We are bush camping next to the river on its river banks. With lots of green trees, this is not a place you would like to be getting caught up in a bushfire, but at lease we have water in the river.
